Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

Hi all - got engaged July 12 and am already totally overwhelmed! I don't even know where to start, but I'm guessing that choosing a catering hall is a good bet. I have heard that Fox Hollow built guest accomodations recently. My questions are: How much do the rooms run (and we would probably qualify for a group rate since we have so many out of towners) and are they nice? Also, any idea on how much a head for a Friday night wedding?

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

I think guest rooms at the Inn run around $200-$265. I'm looking to stay there on my wedding night.

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

Maybe it depends on when you're staying there (the season), I'm staying there in the bridal suite the night of my wedding (Ocotober 4th) and it's $185 plus applicable taxes, and we blocked several suites for our guests at a rate of $165 per night. We are having our ceremony & reception at another Scotto Brother location, Chateau Briand.

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

I stayed in one of their 'bridal suites' (they have 16 of them I believe) for $185 + tax on my wedding night. It was a very nice living room, kitchenette, bedroom combo. I decided against it for my guests since the prices were higher (although if my wedding was at the Fox Hollow I may have).

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

Right behind the Huntington Hilton is the Melville Marriott. It's a very nice hotel, I have stayed there a couple of times.

The Holiday Inn in Plainview is not far either. It's right off the LIE.

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

I recently stayed at the Inn at Fox Hollow hotel when I went to a wedding at the Fox Hollow in June. We actually stayed for 2 nights and made a weekend getaway out of it. It was great! The price was not bad at all for what you get. The hotel is really beautiful. The rooms are big and have kitchenettes and couches. There's a full buffet breakfast was included too. They even had food delivery from the Fox Hollow next door. The staff was very nice too. If you can, try to get a room that opens into the courtyard where the pool is. You don't even feel like you're on Jericho Turnpike. It was really great. Good Luck all!!

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

I just booked the Inn at Fox Hollow for my wedding night 7/4/03. I got a king size suite w/jacuzzi for $239. I guess because its a holiday weekend, its more than at other times of the year.

The Huntington Hilton for the same night wanted $309.

Re: Fox Hollow Guest Accomodations?

My brother is getting married at the Fox Hollow this Friday and a group of us are staying the night there. They blocked rooms for everyone and I'm paying $155 for the night. I'll let you next week what the place is like inside if you wish!
