We just started looking at a whole bunch of places and even though there are more to look at, we like Fox Hollow & Milleridge Cottage the best. Looking at a Sat night in the Fall. wondering if anyone has any positive or negative advice on these places. Thank you!!!

Re: Fox Hollow/Milleridge
I looked at both for my wedding and initially wanted to book Milleridge. In the end, we decided to book Fox Hollow. The menu at both was incredible. However, we realized that the price at Fox Hollow was better, as we were getting more food.
You can't go wrong with either. Ultimately, it will come down to the place you can see yourself celebrating your new life together.
Good luck!

I'm a little biased!! I say Milleridge Cottage! We did the 3 star menu and got a lot for our money. Plus the room is just so beautiful & different!
Here's the Milleridge Thread if you want more reviews:
I am getting married at Milleridge this fall on a Saturday night and I absolutely love it. I have never seen FH though so can't really compare but I am 100% happy with my choice thus far. If you have any specific quetsions, FM me!

lol those were our top two as well! FH liked the decor better at the fox...i do like the fact that the milleridge has 1 wedding at a time!

Definately Fox Hollow. It would be wonderful in the fall, so pretty. It has such a warm, cozy feel to it.

Re: Fox Hollow/Milleridge
I've been to a lot of parties at Fox Hollow and besides the time the valets drove my car into a tree, I was always satisfied there. Now I just park my own car.
The decor is definitely more refined throughout the whole place and it's definitely bigger. It does have the added convenience of a hotel next door but you may be sharing the place with other parties/weddings. From what I could see from the windows, their grounds are pretty too; I've never been out there though.
Milleridge Carraige House is where my wedding is. The defining characteristic for us was price. We are going with the 2-star menu and just had our tasting Saturday. Our BM let us pick and choose items from the 3-star menu to swap out with things we didn't like so much on the 2-star which I thought was awesome.
If we had had enough guests to warrant the Cottage, we definitely would have chose it instead of the Carriage House. But either place is a one-event-only and the prices are great. And so is the food!

Re: Fox Hollow/Milleridge
I went to look at both places last year. They are both very nice. I ended up going with Milleridge because they do offer one wedding at a time and the BM was really flexible with the prices and very accomodating.

I have booked Fox Hollow, that is the only place I went to and booked on the spot, but I have known for years that I wanted to have my wedding celebration there!

Re: Fox Hollow/Milleridge
What's everyone's take when it comes to negotiating with these two places? Milleridge is asking for a fee if we want a lower minimum - think we can get them to waive it?
