FP HMers - did you book your excursions before you went to Tahiti?

Or did you book once you got there?

Is it cheaper, the same, more expensive to prebook?

I just booked our honeymoon on Friday and here's what I've found out so far.

You will *usually* not save any money by pre-booking.

If you pre-book, you will have to set a date from now, and if it rains, etc., you will have to cancel and can lose your deposit or may not be able to reschedule etc.

That said, our TA included two 'activities' in our honeymoon package (a motu picnic with fish/shark feeding in Moorea, and dinner at Bloody Mary's on Bora Bora).

This works out better for us because we really wanted a package that included as much as possible so we knew more or less how much total we'd be spending for our honeymoon.
