I met with Francesca of Dazzling Affairs as a DOC on Monday-- and i thought she was GREAT! We already booked our hall & our photo & video- do you think that I should book her for before the wedding too??
either DOC- communicate 3 months prior to wedding, two meetings the month of, full DOC
Partial package: she comes with us to all vendor meetings, has unlimited meetings with us PLUS DOC
or
hourly - 4 additional meetings with her 6 months prior- plus DOC
What do you think I should do? Do I need a WP? Thats what the partial would be-- FULL SCALE WP- help!!

seems like you ahve been doing fine on your own.. but if you think you need one or things would go smoother.. go for it. im not sure of the money she would be charging you for those different 'packages' so it's hard to tell you which would be better hehe

You're right- how can you help me choose if you dont really know the choices-
It really depends on your situation. I would love a DOC but it's one of those little things I have to cut out because of our financial situation. If you can afford one and you find it necessary (or comforting) then go for it!

do you need her to go to every vendor meeting? yousaid you booked most of them already.
What kind of things will she do for you?

I had fran for my DOC... she is the absolute BEST!!!!!! everybody was & still is raving about her. I pd. for a DOC & honestly I got more than just a DOC.. I felt that I had a FULL EVENT PLANNER! from the time I booked her I e-mailed her with any question I had... and she always answered me e-mails asap!!!! she is worth more than just a DOC... she gives you soooo much more. if you book her... tell her Mike & Christina says HI!!!!!!!! i highly rec. her.. the day of my wedding.. I could've given 2$hits about what went wrong on my wedding day as Fran was there to handle it!! did you meet her dog sammie??

I know that I want to book her-- she told us that she can save us BIG $$-- but I dont know about $3000 worth
Do you think that it would have been nice to have 4 extra monthly meetings? or were you OK with DOC?

honestly, I was ok with a DOC... but when I met her.. I had booked all of my vendors already. i got engaged 9/05 set my date 12/07 and booked fran 5/06. but I have to admit.. she can save your money.. with vendors...
She did with my hotel.. I stayed at the WinGate Inn in garden city.. in their grand (humongo) bridal suite & b/c I used her name they took off $60 per night!
My original churched bailed on me 3 months prior to the wedding and I needed a new church.. I e-mailed fran and she found me a new church within 24 hours (not even.. less than 24hrs).
she is truly a god send.. after my first response to your post.. I e-mailed her to say hi.. I guess I missed her
eta: oh and she did help me save on a few things as well.. like my invites, flowers and a few other vendors.
