Francesco's Bakery

Hey Ladies, can anyone shed some light on Francesco's Bakery in Hicksville? It's the vendor for Chateau Briand, and I have heard some no-so-great things!! Kind of nervous and wondering what their selection is!

Francesco's is also Fox Hollows Bakery. I tried their pastries one holiday, I think it was the Hicksville location. It was really good! A fellow Fox bride just had her cake tasting, she liked all the flavors! I hope that helps. :)

Francesco's is the bakery we're using. They work with The Venetian Yacht Club. The tasting was so good! Literally every sample was yummy but our favorites were the nutella buttercream and the jam and custard. I'm not a big dessert buff but My FH has such a sweet tooth. He wanted to go twice lmao! We spoke with John Carlos and he was great to work with. He took all my ideas to come up with a really beautiful design. I'm really excited and am confident the cake will come out amazing.

I went for my tasting there last week. I was not impressed. I don't know if it was because it was late night or what (we had an 7pm appt). FH hated all of the cakes and most of the icings were terrible. The only cakes I liked (and I love sweets) were the upgrade cakes (red velvet and carrot). We ended up doing 2 layers red velvet and 2 layers carrot cake.

Would you mind sharing the cost of the flavor upgrade? FH kind of has his heart set on Red Velvet.

Someone had said it was 50 a layer for the upgrade.

They said $50 per layer for upgrade but they were quick to negotiate....
