Doesn't sound good, but a good time to do some wedding crafts. Going to Michael's is a must and then food shopping.

HAHAHA i love the name and I love all the hype. I refuse to evacuate this time. I think Michael's crafts and a bunch of booze will be purchased tomorrow so I'm prepared!

Good idea!!! Except I don't have crafts to do without candles and I havent' ordered them yet... well I can do a lot of knitting! Hoping it's not too bad but enough for a day off!

YES we evacuated for nothing last time. but had a great hurricane party (at the future in laws house....)
I'm down in Long Beach, so I went to stay at my parents up north. We brought in all the furniture on our balcony and moved all the living room furniture into the kitchen and dining room. It was a mess. Turns out my apt was fine and we never even lost power. My parents house on the other hand had a flooded basement and no electricity. So yeah, not leaving this time!

I have a ton of DIY to do and maybe this hurricane will be the kick I need to do them. Def. headed to Michaels this weekend to pick up supplies

That's what I say!My boss is really laid back and usually feels bad making us drive in a hurricane or really bad snowstorm so usually we stay home anyway. I'm going to stay home and knit like an old lady haha
