We were still looking for a DJ because FH is a ridiculous procrastinator. We met with Frank and Frankie from FM Ent.. They were super nice, reasonably priced, and I really liked their energy --I booked them. However, I've only read about Frank and Mike on this site. Frankie will be our DJ -- I don't think he's related to Frank so it's not a father/son thing. I was assured that he was trained by Frank and he's experienced but does anybody have any info or reviews on Frankie? TIA!!

we have Frank as our MC, but not sure who our DJ is. Maybe because Frankie is the DJ and not an MC then people might not mention him in reviews. I know a lot of people tend to recognize the MC since they are in charge of keeping the party going. Now that you mentioned this, i'd like to know the name of my DJ too!

He's a nice guy. I'm sure he'll do a great job but I was looking for reviews and info so that I'd have no doubt.
I wasn't worried about music at all for some reason and now it's all I think about -- I'm scared the church musicians will s u c k and I'll have to get someone from the outside. I'm worried that FH's family will hate the music (FH is from Argentina) and I'm seriously thinking about adding steel drums or a percussionist to the CH or reception to jazz things up.
So much for a budget

It will work out! Ask your fh what kind of music and what artists they like and i'm sure they can play it during the reception. The live percussionist is an awesome idea. We would have done that, but my fh is a drummer and he didn't want his friends harassing him to play all night!

Maybe we can play some Gangster Rap for them
On a serious note, maybe they'd like some tango? I have to figure this out!

We used FM entertainment. We had Frank as our MC and Jay (I think) for our DJ. Even though Frank was our MC, he was behind the DJ booth alot, having a hand in alot of what was going on. It was definitely a team effort. Frank was very much 'in charge' and made sure everything was running smoothly. I think no matter who you end up with, it will be great. And, if you have confidence in Frank, and knowing he'll be there too, all will be fine.

We are having Frankie, not Frank. Frank (the one with all the reviews in LIW) has another wedding that day. Frankie is one of the DJ's in the company and he works for Frank.
