Sorry for the late QOTD girls, it's feast or famine at my job, and I'm going to be super busy again for the next month, aaaaaaahhhhh.
So you know how it always seems like it's such a small world, after all? I always like to think of little 'what if' situations, and a thought popped in to my head...what would you do if an ex showed up at your wedding? Not just a psycho stalker ex coming just to start trouble, but completely by accident!
Lets face it...you don't always know all of the people on FH's side of the family...and not just the horrific thought that they could be cousins (ewwww), but you also don't know who knows who, and a guest could easily accidently bring an ex as THEIR guest. You know how it goes...you get invited to a coworkers wedding, you don't really know their FH/FW, you say to your FH Oh want to come with me to Bob and Sue's wedding? He says yes...because even if one of his exes are named Sue, will he automatically assume it's HIS Sue?
So picture making your rounds on your perfect day...and then you get to FH's third cousin twice removed, and she's sitting there with your ex. What do you do?
I would stick out my hand, shake his, and say Hi, I'm Ali, its so nice to meet you, thank you so much for coming!
Then promptly lose consciousness.

I only have 1 ex and he doesn't know anyone at all who would be going to my wedding, so I'm not worried about that at all.

Ha ha ha! I was almost invited as a guest to a wedding where my ex would be! A friends cousin was marrying ex's friend/old coworker. The friend asked me to come as a guest.. and I figured out who was getting married (I don't know how I figured it out but I did) and I didn't go! that would have been awkard! I don't want to see ex! EVERRRRR!
Sometimes I think it's EXTREMELY possible to run into him, we live in the same neighborhood and we still have friends in common.. but I keep an eye out to avoid any run ins. I don't know why.. I just prefer to not see him or be around him. I prefer to avoid the awkard situation that could arise.
Edit for what I would do if I did run into him at a wedding... I would say hello... perhaps just wait for him to say hello (which is most likely). And freak out inside for a moment but nothing on the outside. Then true to form I would go to the bar and drink more - not bc I ran into him but bc I like Vodka more than him. Oh and I would prolly text a friend to share the info!

I would laugh.......A LOT...
Luckily I don't really have any hard feelings against any of my exes so I don't think it would bother me at all... Although if I saw the one guy I dated for a few years when I was 15 I would probably get sick..

one of my exes wants to come soo bad, he wants a friend to bring him as a date!! we are sill friends, but i wouldnt invite him because it is disrespectful to my fh. but i will show him pix!!! I will be looking hot that day!!! need to show off!!

I would just ignore him like hes not even there, Im starting my life with the love of my life. My ex is not going to ruin my day, he doesnt matter to me so I would just brush it off. Oh and not tell FH b/c he would be pisssssssssssssssed!!!!!!!!! LOL

I think I would just laugh and make the best of it-I mean they're your ex for a reason, who cares if they end up at your wedding? It would be alot more strange for them than us.
