Frantic Thursday QOTD!!!

Sorry for the late QOTD girls, it's feast or famine at my job, and I'm going to be super busy again for the next month, aaaaaaahhhhh.

So you know how it always seems like it's such a small world, after all? I always like to think of little 'what if' situations, and a thought popped in to my head...what would you do if an ex showed up at your wedding? Not just a psycho stalker ex coming just to start trouble, but completely by accident!

Lets face it...you don't always know all of the people on FH's side of the family...and not just the horrific thought that they could be cousins (ewwww), but you also don't know who knows who, and a guest could easily accidently bring an ex as THEIR guest. You know how it goes...you get invited to a coworkers wedding, you don't really know their FH/FW, you say to your FH Oh want to come with me to Bob and Sue's wedding? He says yes...because even if one of his exes are named Sue, will he automatically assume it's HIS Sue?

So picture making your rounds on your perfect day...and then you get to FH's third cousin twice removed, and she's sitting there with your ex. What do you do?

I would stick out my hand, shake his, and say Hi, I'm Ali, its so nice to meet you, thank you so much for coming!

Then promptly lose consciousness.

I don't know what I would do but your reaction seems like something I would do. Although I am not good at hiding any emotion whatsoever and I am the WORST liar on the planet and knowing me I would like 'what the hell are you doing here' LOL!

Depends on how I felt about them. .. .

FH and I are actually good friends with a lot of our exes (we met through one of his actually). And I think we have total about 5 of our exes coming to the ceremony. I know this may seem strange but there are some people we have both dated that we obviously didn't have romantic life connections with but are very dear to us.

If it was a bad ex - I think I would just say, 'Oh, well, I guess I don't have to tell you now that there's no chance we'll ever get back together. I hope you weren't as cheap with our wedding gifts as you were every day when we were together!'

welli dont have too many exes and fh knows my old bf who i dated for a while but he could run into that guy i kissed at the keg party when i was a freshman in hs....to which i would laugh and say..omg u related to him then tell fh his third cousin is a great kisser

Wow, awesome question!!! Considering that FH's ex came running up to me like I was her long-lost BFF at an All-County festival rehearsal two weeks ago? I can totally see this happening. I think I would graciously say thank you. . .then run over to my BMs and try to (quietly) say OMG, DID YOU SEE WHAT SHE DID?!?!?!?

If it were one of my ex's? I don't REALLY see this happening since I don't run with the same crowds as they do any more. Thus, I'm inviting people that wouldn't EVER have a run-in with them.

That would certainly be awkward and interesting, but I would not let it phase me. If anything, I'd be pleased that he saw me so happy on my wedding day looking hot!!!!!!
