thank you. I am ok now just feel so bad for FH, he got real bad. He has a fever and has the chills too and puking.
That's what my mom had too. Her doctor said that this strain of the flu isn't in this year's flu shots.
oh really, wow but yeah i think i heard that too. They said this year is the worst for the flu
Thats what my Dr. said too! He said hopefully next year they will have all the flus covered, but this year the shot was for about 40 different types and there are over 140 different cases!

yeah im just glad i dont have a fever anymore and the horrible body aches. Dont feel great but cant complain right now compared to how i was feeling. I ran to CVS earlier this morning, running around to keep changing fh's cold towels every 15 minutes and getting him stuff. Compared to how he is, i cant complain
Yeah that sounds like where I am, I don't feel great... but at least the fever's gone and the aches, and i'm able to get out of bed... I still just get really tired and the bad head aches. It sounds like your FH has it really bad! I hope he gets better soon! Luckily my FH hasn't gotten sick yet.. I hope it stays that way!

I hope your FH feels better!!! I have a friend who's in the hospital now & she had a really high fever. They had her on an 'ice bed' (freezing cold inside some sheets- I think it's ice inside) and then on top of her a light headed bed b/c she was shivering w/ just regular blankets. You are right giving him the Tylenol & a cold sheet- that's what he needs...
Hope you guys kick the flu in the butt & get better soon!!!!

yeah my dad was telling me to take fh to the hospital, i said they'll just do what im doing to him. I learned this from being in the hospital with people with high fevers. My fh keeps complaining hes cold but i tell him to deal with it

Everyone in my office was out this week. We have 25 people and only 6-8 were in each day. I was out but due to a cold that is making my asthma bad. I hope beyond hope FH and I dont get the flu. Last thing we need before the wedding!!!!!

Oh I'm SO sorry to hear this, I understand what FH is going through, I think I have it too. I'm freezing right now, I got sick last night and this morning woke up sweating and today at the hairdresser's I threw up while the girl was doing foils I got really nauseous and ran to the bathroom. I 'm going back to bed but I have to finish printing extra envelope addresses that the calligrapher didn't have the first time around.

I just wanted to mention though NEVER use ice cold anything on a person with a fever, they can go into shock.
they do this in the hospital where they are monitoring their heart etc. always use LUKEWARM water.
i know this bc i used to have seizures when i got fevers and my parents would always put me in a lukewarm bath and we had to do this for DH too a few years ago - never ice cold though, please be careful!

I have been drinking white tea, Im on steroids, Im drinking airborn 3x a day, and I have been through a lot of OJ. I hope we dont get it!!! I need to get echinacea!!

i will be careful. He is better now, his fever went down. I didnt cover his body, i was afraid of doing that because of how he will react so i put a cold towel on his head and stomach, and then he took it off and left one just on his neck.
