Freaking out...

FH has picked up my a month ago now and he still hasn't given it to me. I want my ring What is he waiting for? I sneak a peak at it every night because I found where he stashed it HE HE HE
He originally asked me after the air show at jones beach on memorial day. He had it engraved on a dog tag and took me out to one of my favorite restaurants on the nautical mile but told me that this was just to hold me over until he finished paying off the ring and he had bigger plans. Yeah to torture me before we got married

I would love that but see he doesn't believe doing on holidays because he thinks something as important as that should have it's own date, blah, blah, blah
And newyears is the anniversary of when we started dating so that's a double wammy!!

We've been together for almost 5 years now. Getting married was his idea after only 3 months. He said he knew I was the one. I even overheard him talking with his bestfriend about how he thought he might ask me. Then as soon as I was all for getting married he never brought it up again. Then I felt like I started pushing about it(after the second baby was born)then he took me shopping for the ring, then he got into the whole planning thing and now he finally has the ring and Im still waiting. Im sorry but this feels like no time is going to be the right time with him. No girl can tell me they wouldn't be anxious considering it's sitting in a cabinet in my dining room call my name. His own mother wants to know why he hasn't done it yet.
I hope you ladies are right and new years sounds good to me but like I said earlier he's not one for holidays.
