Today in my building in the middle of the day someone was attacked and robbed. I'm in shock because my neighborhood is safe and this has never happened in my building and i've lived here almost 20 years. now i'm scared it could happen again.

oh no! im sorry that happened..it is scary..maybe have a friend stay couple nights with you..or you live with FH???but since you lived there 20 yrs, maybe it was just some freak thing...be safe!!

i live with my parents and my sister. i'm so worried now. They think either the mugger was hiding in the incinerator or behind the staircase. what if it happens again and this time its worse someone can be killed, raped, etc.

it can happen anywhere, anytime. just always stay alert no matter where you are.

Yup it can happen anywhere. Be careful, especially when you get in and out of the car. Heard of too many scary stories.
