Freaking out

that really stinks - i woul'dve been cursing like crazy in the email - so people have very bad business skills

I'm so sorry this happened to you!!!! What about going to a local department store and get it done at one of the make-up counters. You can go in for a trial tonight or Friday if you have time and then go back if you like it. Most companies require a 2 to 3 product purchase. (Depending on the line it could be $50-$75)

im just annoyed that he just said Oh sorry i cant make it I have a movie shoot - he could have at least recommended someone else, or gave me a telephone #, or made an appointment for me with a different artist......i know that is what i would have done - i would feel horrible if i did that to someone and i would have gone out of my way to make it right.....but i guess some people dont care - its been like 3 hours and still no response from him!!!

so just wanted to let everyone know what happened - chris said i was 100% right and he was so sorry and that he has a contract with the movie people - who had re-schedule and he couldnt get out of it and he felt horrible. he promised that this would not happen for my wedding. he said that he could come do my make up at 7AM - i told him forget it - i made a new appointment (with a girl he knows - they work out of the same salon) and he told me that he would pay for my make up - he is supposed to drop it off to the salon today. he also told me b/c of what happened he'll do my wedding at a discount......

i am glad that he is paying for my make up on sunday - i just hope that this girl does okay.....he told me she doesn't do airbrush so i am kind of disappointed b/c i loved how he did the airbrush on me......

as far as my wedding day i am keeping it booked with him - and i will look around and see if i like anyone else - and perhaps book someone else just in case - and then cancel......i just loved the way he did my make up that much - but who knows i might find someone i like even better!!

so wish me luck that sunday my make up looks ok!!! and of course i will post pictures!

She was working at Christie's & co when i got my make up done but she quit, she got a job offer in california and is moving there in november, shes also a dancer and goes on tour. I am almost positive she lives in queens, but maybe she can drive to you

thanks denise....i think ill just keep the appointment i have with this girl at the hair salon....i dont want to inconveince anyone......such a bummer! im so mad.....its been hours and he hasnt responded to my email - i want to call him and be a Bridezilla!

Bea beautiful is great..they did my makeup at my sisters wedding a couple of years ago.

Sounds like a tough situation....

Its good he is paying for your makeup tomorrow so at least he acknowledges he made a mistake and is trying to correct it.

ughhhh i am so sorry that happened to you... i would feel the same way as you and would not be able to trust him to do my makeup for the wedding.. i hope the girl at the salon does a great job and you get someone you can trust for the wedding
