FH always calls me when I get out of work..seriously at like 5:01 I'll have a missed call from him...and then i'll call him back..and by this time we've spoke at least 3 times... and I haven't heard from him all day!!!
His phone keeps going to straight to voicemail so I'm trying to convince myelf that if God forbid something did happen, that his phoen wouldn't shut off..so it would still ring? FH charges his phone EVERY nite, so his phone NEVER dies..but maybe for some weird reason, he forgot last nite? Even one time he 4got his phone and he borrowed another guys to call me..so this is so unlike FH!!!!
I am freaking out so bad...
He's an armored guard and around now he'd be working in the city, or on his way back to Jamaica...but his job is a little dangerous and with it being Sept 11th 2moro I am totally thinking the worse...
I called his base 2 times and they said they haven't heard from his route since 3:30 which is also odd? I asked him to please have him call me as soon as he hears from him...so I'm hoping he does that..
It doesn't help that I got into a little fight with FH last nite, and I only got into like 3 fights with him our entire 7yrs together!!!
Please say a prayer girls!!! I am going to read the boards to keep my mind from wandering!!

OMG...I dont want to hijack...but the same thing is happening to me right now. Got a call from FMIL about a half hour ago, asking if FH was with me, which he isn't. He didnt email me at work today, which isn't unsual, and when he didn't come online right away I figured he was eating dinner first. His work phone and cell phone are both going into voicemail, and no one has heard from him all day. I'm freaking out too.

I would be feeling the SAME way. I am sure everything is fine. I usually get myself all worked up over nothing. It could be 1000 different things. Phone died, no service, things like that.
I am sure he is ok.
Just hang in there. Keep calling his phone, you will hear from him soon.

dont worry!!! My FH is NYPD and this kind of thing happens all the time. Hes probably just out there keeping people safe and doing his job! Im sure you will hear from him soon. Keep us updated... hugs

He DOES have Cingulair, but he doesn't work in the city. I don't know *** is going on. I checked all the traffic reports, and no accidents or anything. It's almost 2 hours later than when he normally gets home from work, so I don't even know. I think I'm going to go over to his house in a few minutes and pound the pavement if I don't hear soon. He's a little flaky sometimes, but normally he calls if he's going to be THIS late.

I am sure everything is fine. I have gone through the same thing- FH and I talk a lot during the day and one day I didn't hear from him ALL DAY. I was so worried thinking the worst happened. He finally called me at 6PM and said that he worked OT and was back to back with services at work. I felt relieved of course. I am sure something came up or he is busy- keep us updated!

Apparently major things are going down at FH's job, he just called FINALLY to say he might not be able to leave for 3 more hours even. My heart is still racing.
I hope your FH checks in soon, try to keep yourself busy!

oh boy! i hope you hear from him soon... im sure its nothing... awhile back, i posted a very similar scenario where i couldnt hget in touch which fh and was freaking out.... he finally called me and said he didnt have his phone on him.... ever since then i make him take it everywhere LOL

I've been trying to keep myself busy by designing invites for my friends baby shower..but my head is pounding!!!
I am seriously getting really worried now.
I called his job back and asked if they heard from his route lately and they said no ..this is what is getting me REALLY crazy because they have to check in about every hour!!!
I said can you guys try to radio him again, and he said the dispatched just stepped out but as soon as he gets back he'll have him call them..
So I said please do, and have him call his girlfriend immediatly it is extrememly important...
I can't take much more of this!!!!!

Try going to the news12.com site and using the traffic tracker...if anything major happened vehicularly it shows it in real time. It's gotten me through many nights.
