Freaking out!

To date:

My wedding dress is not in yet
My DOJ and Headpiece is not ready yet.
I have no undergarments for the wedding day.
No Bridal attendants gifts.
My calligrapher STILL HAS MY ENVELOPES! (I want to mail them out NEXT WEEK!
I haven't seen a sample centerpiece yet.

and if I keep listing I'm going to vomit.

How is this ALL going to COME TOGETHER????!!!

Just needed to vent.

Although it seems nothing will come together, it will all be fine. Take a deep breath and try to relax

I think we all feel the same way at some point

Breathe!!! If it makes you feel any better, I'm getting married a month and a half before you and I just saw my cp samples last week! It's all good! It will come together! Attendant gifts are just coming together for me too right now. You have time for the envelopes, you'll get them back soon! Have you spoken with your bridal salon about the status of your dress? My jewelry isn't here yet either.

i am getting married the day before you- and have just the same amount of stuff to do...

p.s. your dress usually comes in 8 weeks before... so you are still on time...

let me know if you need any twin weekend advice

You have over two months! It will be ok. Take one day at a time. I didn't get my first dress fitting until six weeks prior and I am getting a bra tonight for my 2nd fitting tmrw. These things are easy if you don't let it stress you out.

Re: Freaking out!

I'm the day before you (Jes' date twin) and I don't have most of those things done, and probably have even way more on my list to go than you do! Don't worry about it -- it'll all get done.

If you do it too far in advance, it dulls the excitement anyway.

This weekend, I'm hoping to get FH somewhere to start considering tux rentals. I don't need him getting married in his undies. Hopefully we can look at wedding bands, too, and we'll first be interviewing an officiant this weekend.

Lots to do, but it's exciting! Don't panic! It'll be great!!

Re: Freaking out!

I understand your feelings....Last week I had a panic attack about the invitations and sheer amount of people we're inviting....

Over the weekend...I went home and made a color coded chart with each ear of the wedding (invitations, church, flowers, honeymoon,...etc...),then listed what had to be done and how I should do it....I have since been checking off things as I go (I have only checked off 2 things)

But it makes me feel better to see everything in sections at a glance and have the ability to check and move on to the next!!!!

Re: Freaking out!

No need to Freak out most people have their wedding dress a week or two before the wedding.

The invites you still have more than enough time to send them out, you prob sent a save the date so people know about the wedding

everything else will fall into place, the more time you have then most likely one changes their minds!
