FREAKING OUT!

***So this is kinda long but I need to get this off my chest or it will keep me up all night!***

OK, so hair and makeup was something I didn't have completely booked but since I'm pretty picky, I've been looking for the right match for a while now. After two makeup artists I had been super interested in were booked on my day, I was neginning to think I'd never find someone and then one day, I got a call from someone who I had met at a showcase. She was offering a discounted trial. I felt very comfortable talking with her so I booked for a date when FH fire department was having a Christmas party. I rearranged hair and nail appointments so that I could also fit my trial in that day and the makeup wouldn't go to waste. Two days before the party the makeup artist calls me to say her aunt has passed away and she had to cancel/reschedule my trial. No problem, I do my own makeup all the time, like I said I'm picky. The holidays pass, plus a few more weeks and I get a phone call from another makeup artist. This one also stays on the phone with me for a while, and although (for some strange reason) I feel kinda loyal to the first girl, I set up a trial with this one. After a little more conversation it turns out that this is the sister of the original makeup artist. They work together. Perfect! We setup a trial for the day of my Boudoir Shoot on April 27. Fast forward a few more weeks. I decide to reach out to them, realizing that I'm only a few weeks away from my b-shoot and don't know where to hold it and also I can't seem to fins a hair person. I just got an email back telling that they are NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR MY WEDDING OR MY B-SHOOT!!!!!!! W-T-F??!!! No contact or anything. Not to mention the person I had been trying to setup a hair trial for this week while I was off from school didn't get back to me until yesterday, only to tell me she's possibly not available for my wedding date (when a week ago when I asked and tried to setup a trial she was). Here I am thinking all is well, no problems, when in actuality I'm kinda screwed! So now I'm back to square one looking for hair and makeup! UGH!!!!

They should have contacted you since you did have an appointment.

I think you might have to do trials sooner if you want to book. July 4th weekend is busy and I'm sure many hairdressers and make-up people are already booked.

Ugh so frustrating! I would be pissed! Sounds like these ppl took other bookings for your day, prob for more $$ and said 'screw you'. Smh My MUA told me it happens all the time which is so wrong!
