Ok, just read on a different post that if your period is slightly shorter each month, or longer than 31 days, it might mean that you're not ovulating?
Does anyone know if this is true? I'm not ttc YET- but-
my AF has been starting 3 days earlier each month since the wedding (October). I have a Dr. appt. for Feb. 3rd- but I'm about to call them, I'm scared!!!!

I don't believe that this is true at all. My cycle was ususally 35 days - all it meant was that I ovulated a little later than the 14 day 'normal' ovulation.
One book that really helped me separate fact from fiction during the TTC process was Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It clearly explains the whole process.

I don't think its true either. Prior to taking bcp, I was off each months by a few days. I think its pretty normal

I don't believe that either. My AF doesn't have a certain schedule. Some months it came earlier and some months it came later.

So, ovulation is usually around the 14th day- someone told me it usually is the 12th. Guess there's no way to really know, just when the egg feels like it!

Michelle, you totally freaked me out!!! First off because I thought you thought you were preggo (which I got totally excited for you), but next with your question! I NEVER heard that and since November, my AF has been TOTALLY off, last month it came a whole week EARLY!
Glad to hear this is not necessarily true. But just so you know, I also heard it's the 14th day for ovulation!

BTW, I have the same situation going on! Actually I said last night, I want to get skinny before I get fat again, lol. Does that make sense?
