freaking out about dress- all fixed with proper pics

I bought my dress yesterday - but i am so scareed i bought the worng one - the dresses i like are so different - it came down to one by Mary's or a priscilla of Boston

The first two picture are me in the Mary's - i am just afraid it has too much beading - but i do love how it sparkles

The second two pictures are the prisiclla dress- much more expensive but much more classic

I don't know what to do - which one do you think is better for a mansion wedding in august

The pictures you posted are 2 pictures of the same dress...but to be honest, you'd have to show me a dress that would blow me away to choose it over this one - it's GORGEOUS!

ETA: Ok, I see both now. They're both very pretty but if you can afford the Priscilla, I'd definitely go with that - it's incredible!

They are both beautiful!
I would say go with your gut feeling. They are too similar to choose which is 'more appropriate'
If I HAD to choose, I prefer the 1st one.

ETS: Oops! Guess that is why I felt they are too similar! From the way it is cut off, the first one looks like it has a different neckline.

This is a very pretty dress... they look very similiar though- and I do not think it is too much beading.. it's simple, yet elegant.

I too ordered a dress, then came home and was extremely unhappy about it.. I must have developed an ulcer thinking about the dress I ordered.. I am changing it this weekend.

Which one are are leaning towards-- you have to go with your gut.

For august I;d go with the second one, probably...but I like the first one better. is it a day or evening wedding? for day then 2nd, for night the 1st

If you can cancel the Mary's, and are willing to pay the price for the Priscilla, go with the Priscilla. It's gorgeous! In the end, the only thing that I wish I spent more money on was my dress. The material that Priscilla uses photographs much nicer (IMO) than the Mary's, but I'm just not a huge fan of when a dress looks a little shiny. If you like a little beading, maybe Priscilla will add some for you, they're usually very good with customizing dresses.

It is hard to get an idea of what the first dress looks like because we can only see the top in th epicture. It looks very pretty though. I also love the 2nd one s well. It really depends on which style you want. If it is a day wedding I might lean towards #2, a night wedding - #1. But again I don't have a clear view of what #1 looks like completely.

I agree with you that the first one appears to have too much beading. I thnk the second one is absolutely gorgeous.

I like the Pricisilla best for a mansion wedding. It's not that the Mary's has too much beading, it's that the skirt looks kinda BLAH in the pic...maybe it's cause you don't have a slip on, but it looks droopy and not fit for a mansion wedding.

Personally, I Love the 2nd one, but that's just my taste. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer here. It all depends on what your taste is, what dress makes you feel most like a bride, and what type of bride you want to be (princess, classic, contemporary, etc.)

Just remember that you'll be a beautiful bride in whatever you choose!
