Thanks everyone! Oddly enough she called me very shortly after writing this. No apology or anything and sounded kind of frazzled. The person I emailed as a backup to see if they were available is and I am honestly toying with the idea of switching.

Why don't you call her up and point blank ask her if she feels too overwhelmed to be at your wedding? How long do you have to give her an answer?

Isnt that always what seems to happen? When you're about to get rid of something or someone, they end up calling lol.
There is nothing wrong with cancelling with her. Did she have an explaination as to why she didnt call you back?
No explanation at all. I wonder if it's too late to cancel...

That is so ridiculous! I'm sorry you're going through this.
I would use the backup...tell this lady she has proven that she is unreliable, and not trustworthy.
