I ordered my dress its Maggie Sottero Royal Romance I have a dress twin that says she ordered the box pleated skirt instead of the aline???? what is a box pleated skirt and I didnt know there was a choice I am freaking out now can someone explain this to me

Aline is much more flattering IMO. Not everyone can pull of pleats. ( Myself definitly being one of them!)

Is it like french pleats? ....I am looking at a fabulous dress that has french pleats and it is so pretty. Very flattering!

Why are you freaking out ? You ordered your dress w/ an aline skirt b/c you loved it !! Or are you afraid you may end up the box pleats ?? - Personally I think box pleats flatter everyone, they hide your hips and butt ! it's a 'bigger' skirt

I agree- I loove box pleats and that is what my dress is-- I have noticed pleats on a dress are very different than pleats on other articles of clothing.
A line is also great-- why don;t you try another dress on with box pleats so you can get a sense of it- I am sure that the skirt of your dress can be changed.

are you concerned b/c you didn't have a choice so you don't know what youa reetting? Now that you see a pic, which did the sample look like? You may want to call the salon to check.

I was freaking out because I didnt know what I was ordered but I think that other bride was mistaken because I emailed Maggie(company) they said you dont have an option you get whats in the picture(box pleated) which is what I tried on and what I want!!!!!
