So I went to visit the on site florist at my RH over the weekend and found out some major news. Apparantly, they are doing a major renovation on my CH and Reception room. They are closing it all down from mid december to the beginning of March. It is going to be a 2 million dollar renovation and they apparently have an amazing design team but I am still extremely upset!!! FH and I went to look at tons and tons of RHs and picked this one because it was exactly what we wanted. Now I have no idea what the place is even going to look like! THey said they will have renderings by next month but it wont be ready to look at in person until two months before the wedding.
I mean, I am sure it is going to look amazing, but I dont know if its going to be what I was looking for. The ballroom had a very old paris feel and now they said they are changing it to a more 'modern and updated' look. I honestly have no idea what to do.
Is it bridezilla of me to be freaking out? What would you ladies do? They already have a good chunk of change from us. I'm so confused!!!

they def should have told you before you booked that they would be doing major renovations.
i picked my place bc of the way it looked...should it change...i would be VERY upset..and if they didnt warn me...Id throw a fit.
i would voice that to them.

yea they should of told you, clm and larkfield told us they were doing updates before we booked. Larkfield was just saying they were trying to get an outdoor garden setup for pics done before 2008, clm was doing the carpets over and showed a swatch of it, Oh and brentwood c.c was doing a complete renovation but didn't show us what they were exactly doing one main reason we didn't book was because the place looked like it was falling apart (i can sense brides are going to slit my throat for that but they had exposed wires, broken banisters, the bridal suite has missing plug covers, stains, etc) good thing they are all fixing it for 2008 but i didn't want to take that risk.
