freaking out over dress

Original post by dolcezzaom

Hey Ladies,
I'm freaking out over my dress right now and really am considering changing. However, I can't even decide what dress to change it to. My original dress pulls across the waist and makes me look like I have a roll, when I don't, it's just the fabric. Which dress do you like the best out of these? Let me know!!
Thanks!!
Shana
psstt....the third one down would be in white.

I like the last one and your original dress the best - I think the difference is that the last dress has a defined waist line and your original dress has your body defining the waist line which gives you the impression that it's pulling. it really doesn't look that way in the picture (it looks beautiful actually) but if you want to switch to something that has similar attributes to what you loved about your original dress, i'd go with the last one. JMO!

I love the last one in the first set of pics. It is perfect. The tulle one is beautiful too, but that last one looks the best!!

I think that this dress is gorgeous on you if you really feel like you have doubts about your dress & want to buy another one.

The dress that you purchased also looks gorgeous on you. As far as the roll around the waist, I have a suggestion. You look about my size.. maybe a 2 or 4? My dress also just doesn't fit right without a corset. I ordered a longline bra from here. It is basically a seamless corset that fall al littler longer than usual.long line bra
I can see that you don't need anything to hold you in b/c you are thin but it really just helps the dress fall correctly & beautifully. I think you should order one of them & try it on with your dress & then see how you feel.

All the dresses look great on you. I like the original and I'm sure a seamtress can alter it although I don't see a roll.

I like the last one on your first post the best.

What it comes down to is what are you most comfortable in. Plus which one can you move around in and sit down the more comfortably

Re: freaking out over dress

Quite honestly, you have a great figure and they all look nice. The first one looks great in the top, but since I'm not a fan of the bottom personally I wouldn't go with that.

Now, you look GORGEOUS in this dress. It is beyond flattering and I love the way it falls etc etc. I'm pretty sure that's David's Bridal in the pics, so if that's the case, you definitely have more than enough time to change dresses since they're pretty good about getting dresses for you quickly.

As for your original dress, it is very pretty too (looks exactly like a Maggie Sottero dress I tried on and really loved). However, as thin as you are, I think they need to let out the waist and if they can't, then order one size bigger and have it adjusted wherever it's big.

If you don't want to go through all that or are unhappy with the dress, then I think this dress below has a similar look to your original dress AND fits like a glove already.

Your original dress is GORGEOUS, but I think it's actually a little too small on you. (And, no, you have NO fat rolls - all these dresses are gorgeous on you)... but they definitely ordered you too small a size.

I also love the first and last dresses. I wouldn't normally pick the first one, but it looks awesome on you.

After your original dress, I'd probably pick the last one you posted...

You look awesome in any of them, though!

it's funny you say it is too small, because when I was trying it on the lady helping me got the woman from alterations and asked her if I needed a size zero instead, because the lacing on the back was pulled as tight as it could go. I agree though, I think I bigger size would work better too...it's just a wonder she thought even smaller?
