I cut a few people, and I'm STILL at 262 people... and FMIL keeps wanting to add a few here and there! I'm freaking out. THE MAX CAPACITY FOR OUR ROOM IS 200. Please tell me its going to be ok. I'm scared. For the money AND for the size of the room.

i hear ya. our vineyard can only fit 110 people. and my guest list is um....over 110!!!!!!!
make a B list. that's what we're doing. we just cant invite everyone at once--if they all say yes they'll have no place to sit!

I cant say for definit but if its anything like my guest list you will be fine. I invited 250 and had 160 at the wedding. What day is your wedding?

Its a Saturday night (10/11) but its also a holiday weekend, so I'm hoping some people won't come.

I'm actually having the same problem.. my Max is 150 and we have about 180 on our guestlist but without guests. and everyone wants to come. I dont think i'll be getting much nos...

We invited 229 and ended up with 185....so you may be ok, but you really never know. I would definitely do a B list...!

Everything will be ok They always say a certain percentage does not show..I think 10%. Tell FMIL you'll put anyone she wants on a 'B' list IF there is room.

I agree with the above and then with that number figure that about 10% don't come and add that % to the maximum number they give you and whatever is over that, make up a B list. I'm sure you'll be fine.
