freaking out! shuttle needed!

I am looking into hiring a shuttle service for the wedding to get my guest from the hotel to the venue and back. I have 40 rooms booked at the hotel already and I am freaking out how we will get them to and from the wedding. Anyone have any recommendations on a shuttle service that have large buses? Any quotes would be greatly appreciated as well!! Thanks ladies

We havent finalized ours yet...we want to see how many rooms are booked before we book a shuttle but you have a TON of rooms. Some people look into getting school buses or like charter buses. We got a quote from Camelot, which I thought was too high, but I know they have many shuttle options available

freaking out! shuttle needed!

I had almost 40 rooms booked, and after calling numerous places, I decided to go with First Student School Buses. I got two buses to take everyone to the venue, because my hotel was 15 minutes from the venue, so I didn't want people waiting around for multiple trips, and then had one bus stay the entire time and do two trips back. Most of the older folks jumped on the earlier bus back and on the second trip back people just piled in and didn't mind having a little less room.

Everything went extremely smoothly with the buses, and I had no issues. I was charged $825 plus I tipped the drivers. I think if I remember correctly the bus that stayed for 8 hours was $600 and the bus that stayed for 3 hours was $225. The quotes I got for coach buses were around $1000-$1200 per bus and I would have needed 2 buses. None of the coach bus companies offered a solution to save money, while first student was the one with the idea of using two buses for the trip there and then doing two trips back, even though they were already cheaper than all my other quotes.

Do you have a contact for them? My hotel is 15-20 min from my hall and so making 2 trips is not an option. I would need 2 buses and your situation seems similar to mine.

That seems so reasonable. Once I know how many are blocked in the other hotel, I'm going to contact them!
