Freaking outtttt

Okay, I know you are freaking out, and I was the same way, but FH and I decided that we would focus on our wedding first. We haven't looked for a place yet, so you are probably wondering where are we living....

Well since, FH lives in a basement apt at his parents and he lives in the Bronx and I live at my mom's house. We decided that right after the wedding we would continue to live the way we are living with the exception of the weekends, coz he works in the Bronx and i work on Long Island and it is just easier and more cost effective if we stay where we are right now. just for the time being.

I have a June wedding , but we are not going on our honeymoon until Sept, so I think before the honeymoon, we will have a place. We just want to get the wedding out of the way first. Then once that is over then start looking into places.

LOL lots of old folks that are passing away.
It's sad, but it's nice to see young couples moving in. I would look there if you like Queens. Whitestone/Bayside is really nice. Depending on your budget, I've seen handyman specials that need a ton of work for $130k (1 br) and decked out fully renovated custom apts for $299k (2br). So you have lots of options. They just dont allow dogs.

its just soo frustrating, i honestly dont know how people plan a wedding and buy a house

my brother was going thru this stress before his october wedding. finally they decided to rent a place for a year and stop stressing about money. they r much more relaxed now lol

FH and i do want to buy a place but there is NO WAY i am adding to my stres level. there will still be houses next year. plus we are able to save more $$ by renting cuz its so much cheaper than a mortgage.

I know this has been talked about before but i keep freaking out about this.

we are in the process of looking for either a house, coop or condo (depending on what we can afford) the way its looking right now between the wedding and everything i dont think we have the money for a down payment right now. im like freaking out that we will have nowhere to live when we get back from our honeymoon.

anyone else feeling this way ??
