FREE Gifts with Registry FYI

You can often get gifts from manufacturers just for registering for items and then bigger gifts once your items are purchased. Macy's is particularly bad at publcising this, but I can tell you I've already gotten free

-Lenox toasting flutes
Cheese board from DeLonghi
Cake server from Kitcheaid
Measuring cups from All Clad
Serving Set from Oneida

Please add others to the chain. I know these 2 since those are my registries. I think most people don't know this.

Also, if you are registered at Macy's, remember to link up your Macy's card to the registry, you get back 10% of your card purchases and 5% of guest purchases after the wedding.

i love free stuff!

we got a gift (small vase) from crate and barrel when we registered and a knife sent to us from bed, bath and beyond.

i got an email about going to the bed, bath and beyond later in the month to add stuff to my registry and pick up another free gift.

For all of my stuff, other than a tote bag and pair of wine glasses which I got at a macy's sip and scan event, I had to fill out a form and mail it in with a copy of my registry

I have a silly question - when you click on an item on macy's registry - it says bonus - is that for the purchaser - or does that come to me? How long did it take for you to get your free stuff?

I think that happens at the time of purchase, so they can give it to you or not.

It took 4-8 weeks from when I sent in the forms.

I feel like my registry lady did it for me - but i don't know

I didnt get anything from BBB

I don't think so. It's a bunch of forms you have to fill out with a copy of your registry and mail to each manufacturer individually.... So probably not, but I don't know, amybe yours were super helpful

She told us about it and said she was going to take care of it all - not to worry - I feel like I should get her something b/c they don't make commission! She's amazing!
