Anyone go to a park or pretty place that does not require a fee?

The Garden City Gazebo is free. It has a beautiful giant gazebo with a nice bench, brickwalk way and flowers.

westbury gardens. i know it is not free (a small fee per car) but it would be my first and only choice if i was having a wedding in nassau. it is so beautiful, i grew up going there.

To take pictures at Westbury Gradens there is a fee of 575.00 for 1 hour, I think there is a small fee to drive through.

There is a park/gazebo across from the side of the Garden City Hotel.

It is on the corner of Stewart and Union (I think??) and it is east of the hotel.

Or Silver Lake, in Baldwin on Foxhurst Rd.

Or Long Beach board walk.

garden city gazebo.. its where stewart avenue splits because of the garden city hotel.. its on the corner of stewart avenue and hilton avenue..

there is a gazebo, a bench, an archway, and some trees...
my sister used it for her wedding, it is free, the only thing is because of that, you arent 'guaranteed' your spot.. you can show up there and there be like 5 weddings already there, and have to wait... or you could show up and no one be there...

Where in Nassau? I think you could likely use Christopher Morely park, though it's not huge on flowers. Maybe by the art museum in Roslyn?(the grounds)

Clark Botanical Gardens is only $75.. that is where I am going to take my pictures.. they even have a rose garden. Its beautiful.

Thas so funny that you mention that. The park has a pool complex and thats where FH and I met working a summer job!!!

And I live right next to the Long Beach boardwalk. We are taking pics here before the church.

When I met with a photographer, he gave me a great idea, you can take pictures at CW post LI University campus for free, you should see some of the pictures taken, you would think it's in some English estate garden, beautiful...

The BM at my hall ( In Massapequa ) Gave us Marjorie Post Park and Millpond. I live in the city so I have nevr seen them as yet. However I do believe that they are free.

I HIGHLY reccomend CW Post. Grounds are SOOO pretty.
I'm a sucker and am paying $395 for my pics at OWG. Oh well. I love the place though.

its in suffolk county ( but no very far east)

and it isnt free but not as expensive as some places are

last year when my MOH got married it was $75.00 and fully refundable if the weather was bad

SUNY Farmingdale has a garden and arberetium (sp) which was beautiful -rows and rows of flowers - pink willow trees - paths, and even a small stream in the back if i remember right.

the pictures there came out great

I am using SUNY Farmingdale also...My sister used it and was $250.00...that was three years ago, so it is probably more now..
