Freestanding table numbers?

Freestanding table numbers?

Hi ladies,

I am new to this website and am hoping a fellow bride might be able to help me.

I have been searching every craft store (joanns, ac moore, michaels) for free standing wooden table numbers and can't seem to find any. I know etsy has tons of pre made ones but they are pretty expensive. I am wondering if anyone has had any luck finding or making standing table numbers? If so, where did you find them or how did you make them?

Thanks!

you didnt see them in Michaels? I couldve sworn I saw them there. I agree much cheaper to make on your own

I know Michael's had letters, but didn't check for numbers. Have you checked Ebay? It may be cheaper than Etsy. I ordered my letters from Ebay but they're not the highest quality wood. I'm going to decorate them so it didn't matter to me. If you are handy and can make them, it'd probably be the cheapest option!

Mines were not wood but I made my own table numbers that were free standing. I used thick cardstock and attached a backing and ribbon to allow it to stand. I have a photo of them in my album.

Thanks so much ladies for all of your responses. I did get letters from Michael's but they didn't have numbers. The koyal website and ebay still puts them up in the $150 range which is just so crazy to spend on numbers.
Violet- you are so crafty! I love all of your signs. What was the backing made of? I would be so worried about them falling over.
