I had to take the picture myself which wasn't such an easy task.
The tips of my nails are done in the white powder acrylic w/the soft pink over the entire nail. I love it! The colors don't chip away and I go for fill-ins every 4 - 5 weeks. When their growing out, the growth is not noticeable as the polish does.
I pay $20 for this, but I'm sure that on LI, the price would be much more.
where did you have it done? I'm thinking of trying it out before the wedding

I get my permanent french at Angel Tips for $45....they do a great job and then 20-30 for a fill.....I love them! Soooooo easy!

I should be called clueless mom trying to get pictures on here Jznck offered to post it so I've forwarded the picture to her.
I live in upstate NY so ofcourse I get them done up here. I live 15 minutes from Binghamton. If anyone would be interested, you can FM me and I'll give you my techs name and phone number. Let me add, its about a 4 hour drive, we live in a small town, but if anyone would consider a weekend get-away, its beautiful country up here. Very reasonable hotel rates, plenty of area sites and things to do. This just might be worth the trip. When I first moved up here, I couldn't find a good nail tech. I would come back down home (LI) every 2 weeks, not only to see my daughter and family, I would get my nails done. People would think I was nuts!

Angel Tips....they're everywhere! I know there is one in Huntington, Glen Cove area right on 107 or 106 and I live in Lindenhurst so I go to the one on Wellwood avenue! Let me know if anyone needs their number or who the best is! You guys have to them! I already convinced a friend of mine in Colorado to get them and she loves them!

I go to Angels Touch in Port Jefferson, I have been going for 5 years and always have permanent french, I love it, it always looks great. FM me if you want the number, same price as Angels Tips.
