I need to register for casual china pronto! The fam wants to start buying for the e party(this will be my everday or sunday dinner with the whole fam-damily plates....this is not my fine)
I am going very plain and neutral with these.....so they match everything and I can switch up linens...especially since I will use these more!!
I am torn between Mikasa's Italian Countryside and French Countryside.
I like Italian because of the darker color and its a little more rustic looking..not that foofy.
I like french because of its simple lines and elegance.
Cons....Am wondering if the dark cream on the Italian will look too 'dark'.....Thinking the French may be too 'charlotte yorkish' for my taste.
I like them both..can't seem to weigh out my options.
I'd love to hear pros and cons about what you think...or if you have none...just which you prefer...I know its ultimately my decision...just wanna hear another side.
Oh...and I am attaching their matching casual stemware.
i vote for the italian country side b/c it has more of the rustic feel to it. i think the french has a slight contemporary look
i can def. picture up a nice sunday dinner with (in nonna's voice ) ala past overflowing!!

I have the Italian set! FH and I bought it after our E party with gift cards! So we can be date twins and plate twins!

K, Im gonna go outta the box here only because u said for sundays dinners, Now if either one of my g mas was alive I would want to serve them sunday macaroni & meatballs with the first one. The italian creme, & no !!! not cuz its Italian cream. To me it it looks more um sunday dinner ish .
The other one is nice too but modern looking to me , not so much Nonna looking though,,,

Ok.. I am going with the Italian countryside ones.. I like the lines around the edge of the plates! I love mine.. It's called Heritage by Pfaltzgraff... Its more of a square edge and has a tint of cream in them.. you might want to consider looking at Pfaltzgraff too chica!! They have beautiful dishes too! Here's the pick of mine.. I prefer the more flat look.. my opinion of course darling.. but both of the sets you chose are beautiful!
