Re: FRENCH POLYNESIA END OF MARCH??

When we originally planned our wedding we were going to be married in March but ended up moving everything up to November. We researched the weather in Tahiti and found that the best prices were from Nov-March too and this was when the rainy season is. I talked endlessly with my poor travel agent (she was so patient!) and we went to Tahiti anyway in late November and the weather was perfect! I swear, we had one afternoon of rain and the rest of the time it was hot, sunny and gorgeous! We found out that it is just more likely to rain during this time, not necessarily cyclones at all. Tahiti is really close to the equator. I would go in a heartbeat in March.
best,
evon

We were there from April 6-23 of this year, and we had some rain...maybe a few minutes every other day, but tht was it. The only times it rained hard for more than a few minutes was one morning when we were in Papeete (but the skies later cleared and it was perfect out) and one afternoon in Bora Bora (we were on a cruise, so we only spent 1.5 days in Bora Bora).
