I had some favor ideas in mind and then saw another bride on here was giving out pies and thought it would be a great favor. We are getting married in October so apples are great in the fall. Also would be personal to us because we LOVE to get apple desserts with ice cream on them...YUM! I would have it in a plain white pie box wrapped with red satin ribbon. We are doing an all red theme. I live close to Valley Caterers which makes an awesome apple pie at a reasonable price. So my question is if you were a guest what would you think if you got an apple pie as a favor?

I love apple pie, and your right it's perfect for the time of year your getting married, i could go for a piece right now with vanilla ice cream!!!!! yum!!!

Apple pie or candy apple is a great idea. Want to know another great idea. I saw it at a bridal show at one of the vendors table. They had a shape of an apple pie that looks like its real but its made out of plastic and inside has pot pouri(sorry cant spell it) and it smells like apple pie & cinnamon and you can give out little bottles of replacement so they smell like it for a very long time. If you want to stick with a pie I also think pumpkin pie would be cute to and very cheap since its pumpkin season.
