Freshwater fish??

Are there any pretty freshwater fish that are not too expensive? Not beta because I would want to put at least two in one bowl.

TIA! I have another CP idea!

I learned this the hard way, I put 2 beta together in a bowl when I was a kid, and they killed eachother .. but I heard it only happens sometimes so I'm not really sure

I dont think so...I have always been under the impression that they are otherwise known as 'Japenise Fighting Fish' and that they attack one another. If I am wrong, please let me know because they are only like $3 per fish!

Re: Freshwater fish??

We have had betta for years, and recently the petco lady told us we can put 2 females together........and we tried it, and it didn't work out. They didn't attack eachother, but one of them was very interested in the other, and the other one took to playing dead, and acting all wierd. We ended up separating them, and they are both doing great!! The one that was playing dead, I thought she had some health issues, but she is loving her new tank. Also, we put them in tanks this time(1 gallon tanks, with a water pump, and some foliage), which the petco staff told us not to do, but the internet told us is ok, and they both are doing so well. They seem the happiest out of all of the bettas we have gotten, and we have been though a lot! They love the water pump, and hide under the foliage, and are very happy.

Hope that helps...

My FH was worried about that too!!! haha such worriers they are! But I decided to tape plastic bags with cute ribbons underneath one chair at each table..then when they announce the game to take home the cp it is whoever has the bag under their chair. I don't know I thought it was cute!!
