Original post by NY031978

for some reason i feel like since my weddings a Fri night ppl wont show at the church! I dont know if i should have it at 3 or 4?! Its winter and im a lil worried about weather and I do want a few pics outside w/ some day light! ( i know it will be cold but IF we get a winter like last yr. we really luck out!!) CH is at 8 so i dont want a huge gap but i do need time for pics and again i want some light out!

I had my ceremony at 3pm on Friday and I went with the theory that the people who wanted to be there, would be.

I'm also having my wedding on a Friday, not sure what time yet, also probably 3 or 4pm... No matter what day your wedding is, your closest family/friends will be there no matter what! My cousin had a THURSDAY wedding and EVERYONE was at that ceremony... that was at 5pm...

They'll be there no matter what! Dont worry!!!!!

I am also having my wedding on a Friday. I was having the same problem as you with the daylight time and pics. Originally I set my church for 5pm, then to 4pm,, now it is set to 3:30pm. I felt bad for all the people who were coming to the church b/c my CH does not start until 8:30 and there will be a big gap BUT this is a once in a lifetime thing and you will want your pics to cherish. I recommend doing it as early as possible for yourself.

The people who show at the church will be the ones who care and are closest to you.

That's how I see it for myself too.

Good luck.

I have been to many Friday weddings and attended the church for all of them.
