Friday Brides

we're doing a Friday and saving soooo much money that way.
people will be tired, and some wont come to the ceremony but the way i see it, the important people will come, and the fun people will stay.

i don't see any problems with a Friday wedding.

im doing a friday too...we want a night reception but saturday night cost too much..a lot of people are having friday weddings now

im worried about the church a but but im sure all the important people will take off from work to be there

I'm doing a Friday and having my ceremony (ceremony and rehersal same place) begin at 4 so that my guests won't try and work a full day (and end up sitting in traffic-everyone including myself is traveling from brooklyn/manhattan/OOT). I've talked to many guests who are flying in from out of town and they are actually excited to have Saturday and Sunday to spend in the city. I worried about it also in the beginning--but then I remembered that I rarely didn't take at least one day off for other weddings i've attended even if they occured on Saturday--you only get married once---eveyone gets vacation days to use---send your STD's out one year in advance--that should be fine--

I'm getting married on a Thursady as well. It's a holiday weekend so people will have off the next day and so many people leave early from work the day before 4th of July too!
We are saving a ton of money and the people that really matter will be there no matter what!
