Friday night

Okay so FH and I decided to stay home tonight for a 'relaxing ' night. So Im going to attempt to do some wedding stuff with him like the guest list, show him the favors that Im going to order. I just have a feeling he'll give me......'its more than a year away we dont have to do it now' routine.
Any of you ladies try to get your FH involved and it seems like he just doesnt want to?
he tells me over and over its what I want but I want him to see what I like and agree or disagree.
anyone have some advise so I dont lose my cool if he doesnt want to help?

I would just tell him how much you appreciate him helping you with the wedding decisions because you want to make the wedding a part of you both.

Then say, oh, I wanted to get your opinion on these things so that we don't have to rush and make these decisions last minute, then us both get frustrated.

I hope that makes sense...lol

Is there anyway you could make a beer drinking game out of the planning?

I find that helps with my FH.

i.e. take a sip of beer for every guest we cross off the list as unnecessary, a sip for every favor we veto... etc
