Mine will start at 6:30, but we might put 6:15 on invites. What are you ladies doing?

Re: Friday Night Brides...
ours starts at seven and we're putting seven...what time are you girls having the church/ceremony? For us, church is at 2:30 so there is going to be a big gap in between but I wanted to leave enough time for pictures, traffic, etc. plus we want to be at cocktail hour.

Re: Friday Night Brides...
My ceremony is at the RH. Supposed to start at 6:30, cocktail hour to start at 7. I'd like to put 6:15 and start at 6:30 so people are there on time. Is that wrong of me??????

I'd like to think that as well!!! I'm just afraid that people will see 6:30, and try to work the day (or half day) and miss half my ceremony.

Ceremony starts at 6:30. Cocktail at 7. Reception 8-12. After party 12-2. After After Party...who knows!
I think I am just going to put 6:30 on the invites. People know better.

Yes especially on a Friday b/c people have work. I would definitely put earlier on the invite.

I'm a Thursday and it starts at 7pm. Can we write on the invite 'dont be late'? Or maybe put 7:00pm SHARP

Oh crapola.....I was figuring that not everyone was going to attend the ceremony so I wouldnt have to worry about that....I was figuring only close family would come to the ceremony and figured they would all be taking off the entire day.....Hmmm....maybe since its at the RH more people show up than if the ceremony was at church? I dont want to put 5:30 on the invite and then punish the people who show up early.....If people think the ceremony starts at 5:30 they'll show up at 5:00 or 5:15 and will be waiting for almost an hour!! I don't know whats worse - to have people show up late or have people complain that they are waiting.....

Re: Friday Night Brides...
SO I think my best bet would be to call my RH and see what they suggest. My ceremony will def start at 6:30, CH @ 7, dinner and dancing 8-12. I really think it would be better if I put my start time at 6:15. One of the reasons why we are having the ceremony at the RH is because I want all our guests to see the ceremony, not just like skip it and just come for dinner, drinks and dancing..
