How are you handleing the reherrsal dinner?

planning on the Tuesday before, or the Wednesday if necessary. Working around the arrival of out-of-towners.

Mine is the night before because almost all of my bridal party is from out of town. I just thought it would be nice to relax the night before--it will be a little hectic but I am sure it will be fine.

We aren't sure yet.. we have only had 1 meeting with the priest and he said most likely it will be the night before... which I first thought would be stressful.. but it is definitely easier for the out of town guests.

Now did you all actually BOOK your rehearsal date already? I was thinking we were just given a date.. my priest didn't really seem like there was much choice.. he just said.. it will probably be thursday night... hmm.. i will have to find this out.

I didn't have a Friday night wedding, I had a Saturday night, but we had a rehearsal brunch the Sunday before our wedding. It was perfect beacuse it was early in the day and noone had to worry about drinking and having to wake up 5 hours later.

we had ours the night before- most of the BP was from out of town.... and it worked out perfect for us--- it was a nice way to relax and have a nice dinner the night before, and being with so many people helped keep my nerves down, too....

we planned our rehearsal for sun before the wedding- right after mass

Luckily, all our family members are the Bridal Party so they only problem is the best man who is in the air force academy wont be there.

So we are doing a brunch right after the rehearsal, then we head back upstate for one more week or work before turkey day!
