Does anyone have any idea on whether there is a discount for weddings on Friday the 13th. November 13, 2009 and August 13, 2010 are both fridays. If I were to pick August for example, would there be even more of a discount from any other Friday in August?

My friend got married on a Friday the 13th and she never said if it was cheaper. I cant see why it would be its just a date. It might be cheaper b/c its a Friday.
ETA: Her theme was 'Lucky in Love' it was really cute!

The only day i ever saw discounted was september 11th... when w started looking places last august, the catering halls that were practically booked for all of 2009 had that date open

Yea I doubt 13 is cheaper, it should be another friday price.Its like Oct 31 people make it a point to get married on that day. I remember when booking my hall they said that 9-11 is coming on a Sat in 2010 and that they know it will be pretty tough to book.

We are getting married on Saturday the 14th - and the night before was the same price as any other Friday night.

when we first started looking into rh's, this was a date we had in mind and it wasn't cheaper bc its friday the 13th....it was slightly cheaper bc its a friday night but that's it.
