If you had a friend that you were very close to growing up and were friends for YEARS but had a falling out- would you tell her that your Dad had Cancer if she was close to the family?

Oh thanks... it's not my Dad, Dad.. it's my Step Dad- who is as important to me as my Dad, Dad....
We recently had a falling around Easter... I will let her know.
