You know how people always say 'blood is thicker than water' and all that..?
Well, does anyone feel like their friends are much more loyal than their family?
This wedding (and the parties leading up to it) have been showing me more and more that my friends would be by my side MUCH faster than the majority of my family.
I really didn't expect this, but it is what it is.

I definitely agree to a point.... I have some amazing family members-other not so much

unfortunately weddings bring out the beast in some!!!!! You will really begin to see who really cares about you and FH.

ITA!!! I love my friends! They have been there for me through every step of the wedding plans.. Even friends that arent in the bridal party! YAY!

I have had the opposite problem. I had a really good friend for 25 yrs, and long story short she picked her crazy b/f over me, and I didn't even give her any kind ultimatum. On the other hand, it's really nice when family wants to get involved with the planning etc...
