From Bassinet to Crib !! :(

The time has come !
Looks like tonite will be John Anthony's first night in his crib !! His crib was ready yesterday but I had to have one more night ! Im going to miss hearing his little coos and yawns..and occasional little farts !
Imagine if it were ready by his '3month' bday, I would have NOT let him go !!
It was stretched until now because we opened the box w the crib and realized some of the pieces were a different shade (Lesson learned: OPEN THE BOX AS SOON AS YOU GET THE ITEM ! - we bought it back in June !!). Anyway, we had to wait for the mfr to ship us the parts in the right color. Winds up they are still that lighter shade, because they were parts that are not seen (for the drawer at the bottom) and they are made with pressed wood, not real wood, so its a little different. But you'd never know since it doesnt show...

So now his nursery is coming together. We bought his furniture today..
Shamma, I'll post pictures in a few weeks, when its all set !

anna, i bet today is a happy yet sad time for you that your little boy is getting bigger.

Please tell us how it goes!! Luke's time is coming very very very soon as well and I am dreading it. I like his little bod nearby Sometimes he sleeps in the bed and we both love it (Me & Luke) DH, not so crazy about it so he mainly sleeps all night in the bed when DH is working. LOL I told him that when he is working overnight, I sleep with another man

PPS: Congrats on your 'I'm Pregnant' anniversary! We were saying just the other day that it is around this time last year (21/22/23) that Luke was conceived. Most people don't want to hear that so I can only share it here on the Parenting board. LOL

Oh, Anna! I am sending you lots of Mommy! You sound soooo mushy in your post!

I understand how hard it can be to watch them get big soooo fast! We went shopping today too for Paul's furniture for his new room! Yay!

He is so cute.....Its amazing how fast they grow

Billy was so LONG at 2 months, we had to make the switch then.

I cant imagine having Emma sleep in another room!! Since I had a c-section I had her sleeping with me so I wouldnt have to get out of the bed to feed her (breastfeeding) now if she isnt sleeping in the bed with me she wont sleep. I dont know what to do!!! I have her pack-n-play next to my bed and she goes to sleep in that but she wakes up after an hour and when I put her back to sleep she will wake up after 1/2 an hour until I bring her into bed with me. Any ideas????
