From 'EH' to dance lessons...

My Fiance and I were driving back to his house tonight and he totally caught me off guard. All week (since last friday's engagement) I have been reading wedding magazines, making phone calls, and starting to make appointments to view reception halls. Usually his response when I ask his opinion is.. whatever you want, or 'eh'... tonight he totally caught me off guard and said babe, i cant wait to take dance lessons with you! I never expected that! He was sincerely interested in it! Has anyone taken any lessons yet, or priced out any places? Just curious as to what the cost would be. etc/

I wish i knew prices, cuz my neighbor is doing it for us for free....Can't be more then a hundred or so....

I believe Nessa79, who had her wedding at my hall last year, took dance lessions and mentioned the place in her bridal review.

I know my FSIL & FBIL took them for their wedding at Arthur Murray...They spend $300 a month

There is a new vendor on here: Ball room dance Long Island. I've been e-mailing them back and forth regarding lessons for me and my Dad and they are very quick to respond and seem reasonable. I hope to start the lessons next month. I'll let you know how it goes.

That's great!! Me and my FI are going to be taking dance lessons too!! I was suprised because I thought he was gonna put up a big fight not to take lessons but he is actually looking forward to it too....who would've thought!!! We haven't picked a place yet, so I too am open to suggestions of where we should go!!
