Frontline for dogs

What does everyone use for the prevention of fleas and ticks?

Do you buy your supplies online?

I love Revolution because it has heartworm preventitive also built in. My vet lets me look online for the cheapest price and honors it.

I use whatever the stuff is I get from the vet (I can't remember the name) ... Hershey had a very bad reaction to the ones you can buy in stores.

Actually for Bailey & Max, we've used the non-Rx stuff.

We use frontline!

I just started using Frontline. It does not contain pyrethrin, which I am allergic to. Most other flea products use that ingredient and allergy to it is more common than we realize. My vet called in an order to PETMEDS for me.

i don't remember which one we use- i think it is Advantix- it's the kind that can kill cats if they injest it....

Yes Adnantix for Dogs is lethal to cats. My vet does NOT sell that.

We use Revoultion for our cats. It helps prevent heartworm (transmitted by mosquitos) in cats.

just make sure that if you have any other animals to watch them very closely with Frontline.
my best friend used it on her cats... and one of them licked it off the other and now has seizures and stuff.
Alot of pets died from it.
i wont use it. im just too nervous

Our vet recommended Frontline for Golem - we haven't started him on it yet though but plan to soon now that the weather is nicer and we're outside more.

OMG -- I just bought a 6 month supply of Frontline Plus my vet. We don't have any other pets, so hopefully it will be OK. I'm curious about Revolution. Is it a pill?

i'm sure its fine. just read up on the animals that died form it and im sure theres a reason why each one didnt take to it.
my friends cat had that happen b/c she licked it. and it says not to let them ingest it.
