I have the Margaritaville machine and i want to use it this weekend for our big party. Does anyone have any good frozen recipes?

I would get the mix at your local liquor store, it's much easier than making a large quantity from 'scratch'. Friday's brand and Margaritaville brand are both very good!

agreed. cuervo's not bad either! just add tequila if you need more alcohol.
We use a blender. Is that machine like amazing? Do I need one? lol

I have the cuervo brand of margarita mix and i thought it tasted very sour/bitter... i LOVE margaritas and these just werent going down!

i think it is more sour actually. I;m gonna go home and see what we have in the fridge. yes, we have some in the fridge lol

We put it on the registry as sort of the yea right gift and someone got it for us. I've used it once so far but I love it! You put the ice in the top, put the liquid in the pitcher, select settings on two thing (can't remember the exact settings since i only used it once) and the ice is chopped or slivered or what ever it is before it drops into the pitcher to be blended up. So your not watering down your drink.

I would just get the mixes. FSIL/FBIL have one and they just use the mixes and ice and the drinks are delish!

With Jimmy Buffett playing at Jones Beach next week, you better believe we are fully prepped with all of our margarita paraphenalia...
we have tried them ALL and even though we might be biased, the only pre-mix that seems to make a great margarita is the new margaritaville pre-mix in the bottle. the cuervo and fridays versions always seem so sour, and just not exactly right.
we usually add just a hint of extra tequila to it, but it doesn't need much. if you put that in the margarita machine and shave the ice down into it, you will NOT be disappointed. its soooo good. Not too sour, not too bland...can't wait for tuesday ! ! !
good luck with your tasting, don julio is my favorite tequila, but after two tastes, they all taste the same...GREAT ! !
