Has anyone thought of having fresh fruit surrounding a CP or having fresh fruit as favors. I was considering this ..... I would like any opinions on this. Is this a good idea or do you think the fruit is not appealing enough.

I'm not sure. I thought of giving fresh fruit as a favor because I am having a 'perfect pair' theme and I am giving a pair of 'pear' candles. Someone suggested I give real pears but I just think people will eat them right away and then what will they have?

I don't think fresh fruit works well in 'real' life. It sounds great in theory, but to give it as favors would be a hassle (worrying about 'ripeness', smell if it's bad, falling on the floor - I don't know). BUT, I love the idea of using fresh apples or lemons or whatever on a bowl, or slicing fruit and placing it on water with roses or petals looks beautiful.
