frustrated

my FMIL is really annoying me... to give a little background, she is super disorganized and forgetful, and many of the save the date cards were not delivered because she had the wrong addresses for her family... so she made changes for me, but my sister has since gotten a few shower invites sent back because my FMIL incorrectly wrote down the new addresses and didn't double check anything..

so now, I asked her last week for a FINAL list of people and addresses because I printed out labels and put all of my invites together to go out in a couple of weeks. I just got a text from her with like 10 additional people she 'forgot' and a BUNCH of address changes. She wants certain people that I wrote separate to go on invitations with their family as well, so now I have to throw out a ton of envelopes, reprint the labels, and order more envelopes because now I don't have enough... I hate that she keeps making careless mistakes because they are at my expense and it's just super frustrating.

That sucks. Can you have her do it? Or at least help you out with it. That would annoy me to no end if my FMIL was like that.

I'm just going to shut up and do it- I can't wait to get these freakin invites in the mail though. I seriously don't even want to look at them any more hahah

that's so frustrating! sorry you're dealing with this. You should make her pay for stamps in case you get ones returned back to you for the wrong address!

That would drive me NUTS! I can't stand disorganization. Honestly, if it was me, in a nice way I would say that (unless the address was wrong) labels/envelopes that have already been printed are going out as-is. Who cares if someone gets their own invite instead of being included on a family one? Ordering new envelopes and all costs money and delays your invites. So sorry!

i don't think i'm going to bother saying that to her because i don't want to cause an issue.. i think i'm going to print what I can and just send out the other ones the way they are and not even tell her... she won't even know if I did what she asked or not

Ugh that’s so frustrating! I would just double check the addresses on Google. Make sure street names are spelled correctly and zip codes are right.

That's ridiculous. Throw it out there that she gets one more list and that's it. However the addresses are is how its getting sent and if they don't make it its on her to make changes or they aren't coming/ getting invites. We've had to draw some hard lines ourselves! You can't be responsible for everyone's every request when you've put forward so much effort!
