I am having trouble finding a dress I really like. But I saw a few (okay, 11) Jasmine dresses online that I thought I might like. Went to RK bridal at lunch yesterday and could only find 1 of the 11 and no one was around to help me. Then I waited a half hour for someone to call my name so I could try it on but no one did so I just left. Then I called the manufacturer and they said most salons only get 5 or 6 of their dresses. FRUSTRATED!
Want to see the ones I might like if I ever found a place to try them on?
i had the same issues looking online!!!.. so i stopped driving my self nuts but doing that... easier to just go and look.. you should be able to get the stores that carry Jasmine from the jasmine website then call them with the style numbers to see what they have.. I did that too...
Centereach bridal had a few jasmines that were really nice.. dont remember which though but they had quite a few..
Good luck!
ETA... i love #8.. I tried on #11 didnt look/feel right on me.. but you are not me...

Yeah, I guess online searching doesn't pay off so well all the time. Gets your hopes up.

I like # 2 and # 8. It's your choice. You have a great selection to choose from. Best of luck to you!

Re: Frustrated- dresses
You might find dresses that are similar as many designers have dresses that look alike. If you go back to RK bridal I recommend when you sign in your name in the notebook that you request Olga...she is the sweetest nicest lady ever... she helped me find my dress that I bought last week. I think she is in all week excepts Wednesdays, if you do tell her Sabrina says Hi!

Try The Wedding Center in Commack. They had a pretty good selection of dresses in general and I know they have #11 b/c I tried it on there. If you do call, reverse the style number when asking for it. Maybe everyone knows to do that, but I didn't and it got confusing when I was calling places. For example, the style number on #11 is listed as C127, but they'll probably have the style of the dress listed as 721. Took me a little while to figure that one out. Could have just been my dress too. Who freakin' knows?! Anyway, good luck!

Re: Frustrated- dresses
best suggestion i can give you is to just go to salons and try on different dresses. when you look online and in mags, someties you set yourself up for dissappointment bc they can be hard to find in local salons and a lot of the time look different in person or on you. if you have your heart set on trying on all the jasmine dresses you liked from the pics, your best bet is to call all the local salons with the names and numbers of the dresses and see who has what before you go out of your way for nothing. btw, that stinks that they wasted your time at rk bridal! i had a similar experience with a florist and its frustrating! good luck! ~lacey

Paradise Bridal has a lot of Jasmine dresses. Thats where I got mine. I also know I tried on #6 there, it was my second choice!!! My friend tried on #11 there... they definitely have a really big selection over there!

I actually went to a trunk show and tried most of them on but was still kind of eh about everything. Wound up getting a Demetrios dress, so the pressure is off. Phew!

All the dresses are beautiful. Sometimes if you call a salon that has Jasmine, they can request samples from the designer. Good luck.

Re: Frustrated- dresses
The same thing happened to me.... I finally made an appointment that had the most dresses that I liked - and that had the mfgrs I liked... in the end, you'll probably wind up just looking through the racks while you're there... If you have pictures and the person helping you is good (and most of them are), they can help you find dresses that incorporate the kind of things you like.
For me, in the end, it turned out that I didn't care so much for the dresses I thought I would and ended up buying something completely different!
