Frustrated with photographer - NEED ADVICE!

Hello everyone! I am waiting on my photographer for our engagement photos. They originally said it would take about 2 weeks and has been almost 6 weeks now. I would like to use one of the photos from the shoot for our save the dates (wedding is in 9 months). How can I ask for the third time when they will be ready without sounding rude?

exactly. don't be afraid to sound rude, it is their job to provide you your photos that YOU PAID FOR.

If they are doing this with your engagement photos maybe you should throw in what are you suppose to expect when it comes to the wedding?? Agree with the ladies, sound rude You are the client expecting a product you are PAYING for!

Do not feel bad about pestering them - you're spending A LOT of money for this. You booked them with expectations that your photos would only take 2 weeks, not six! Sorry you're going through this, super frustrating.

I agree with everyone else - if they can't meet your expectations with engagement pictures, they're really not setting a great tone for your wedding. I would call them and tell them you need them in order to make your save the dates, that they're four weeks past when they said the pictures would be ready and that now you're reconsidering using them for the wedding. You have to be tough in this industry or people will walk ALL over you.

Wow 6 weeks is a long time! If I were you I would defin follow up on it. I get impatient and don't think I could have waited that long! Good luck!

I struggle with this too, because I don't ever want to be rude, but trust me if they've been in business for any length of time they are used to it. You deserve top notch service from a company you are paying big money to for a very special day. Demand an answer and let them know about any other concerns you have.

I would definitely call them! Tell them your wedding is during a holiday weekend and you want to send out the save the dates as soon as possible! don't worry about sounding rude.
