My daughter will be 23 months when I get married. FH's sister is in the BP. She keeps saying she is going to be the one to walk Emma (my flowergirl) down the aisle. I keep telling her that she isnt and that I want her to walk down the aisle either by herself of with my MOH JUST BEFORE ME. Today she tells me that she wants to walk her down the aisle and in the background FFIL is arguing with her that HE is going to walk her down the aisle. I SAY NO she is going to either be by herself or with my MOH she said those are fighting words... I say they may be fighting words by Im going to win.
What can I tell this annoyance to SHUT UP and get over the fact that SHE isnt going to be with my daughter that day. Im so affraid she is going to make my day miserable because of her ways.

I agree! Tough sh*t! She has to get over it and grow up already. It's your wedding, your daughter.

What is it that makes her think she has the right to A. Walk your daughter down b. tell you what to do c. argue with you, the bride
Tell her this is the law, get over it!

I keep telling her. She just doesnt seem to get it. She even says it to FH and he tells her that he doesnt think so. I think every time I talk to her she says something about it. I want to reach through the phone and smack her.

its your day your daughter. tell her either you accept the fact that your not walking her down the isle, or you can sit with the rest of the guests and watch the wedding instead... ... now this is you FSIL, i think its you fiances job to explain this to her. this is HIS sister, then you look better and it sounds better coming from the brother.

FH does tell her. SHE JUST DOESNT GET IT!!!! I keep saying no and she is just SOOOO annoying in arguing with me. She never sees my daughter. She lives 6 hours away. I think the last person she is going to want to see is her.

You need to get your FI involved - He needs to be the one to tell them to mind their own business and that this is the way it's going to be and if they don't like it - tough poopy.

Re: FSIL & FFIL (VENT)
I would just ignore her repeated attempts to get you upset. If she brings it up again just ignore the comment and move the conversation on to another topic. There is no use talking about this and getting upset for the next XX months. On your day you can place your daughter where you and she are most comfortable.
